Our History

Sizemore & Company LLC was founded in 1989 when a major Fortune 100 company expressed an interest in establishing a Local Construction User Council.  The Appalachian Construction Users Council (ACUC) and the Construction Owners Association of the Tri-States (COATS) were the result.

In 2001, Sizemore & Company was instrumental in the formation of the prestigious Construction Users Roundtable (CURT). A legacy group of the Business Roundtable in Washington, D.C., CURT now consists of dozens of owner members representing over $200 Billion in annual construction spending.

In 2008, the company began providing staffing and advisory services. This business unit of the company provides an array of technical and professional resources devoted to delivering high-quality supplemental resources, consulting, and project expertise to major construction projects, both domestically and internationally.

In both 2016 and 2017, as a result of hard work and dedication to delivering excellent results for our clients, Sizemore & Company was honored to be named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
